The Sheffield city region is a hotbed of morris dancing, with over a dozen teams performing almost every form of the dance. Molly is the only style of morris not currently represented in the area.

The teams around the city have a close relationship and dance out together on a regular basis, either at pubs or at specially organised city-centre events.
